Kevin: Mr Fuzzman, is it ok If I call you Fuzzman?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Fuzzy: Of course fuzzman is one of my names. Also the fuzz, fuzzworth, fuzzil, fuzzpimpil or you can just call me Omari (strange in final year a lot of people started calling me Omari).

Kevin: Mr. Fuzzman, thanks for doing this interview. You've been known on hall as a crazy, loud, amuzing, politically minded, friendly and at times annoying person. Would you say that's a fair assessment?
|
|
|
|
Fuzzy: Yes.
Kevin: Fuzzalina Jolie, What will you miss most about Worrell Hall? The crossdressing?
|

Fuzzy: Liming late, drinking until I get Crunk, the exchange students, esso flex in the night and the
traditions on cell block 4 and of course all those lovely ladies who I used to hang out with (y'all know who u
are).
Kevin: You've had many great moments at UWI. Not including your many weeks of frantic masturbation . . .
What was your greatest moment in the 3 years?
Fuzzy: Not masturbating for sure. That is a difficult question, I had many interesting experiences at UWI,
man I became more mature, more conscious and was able to develop so many friendships. I met a lot of
interesting people, some of them I might see again in the future and some I may never see again in this
life. However at UWI the beer limes were the shit, the island associations week of activities, UWI carnival,
grubbing and unity week on halls and not to mention Caricom Football league were the best things to do.
Also the trouble we made on cell block 4 as well. Remember the night when me, Thomas and Kellon were
all drunk and we started singing extempo. Also never forget the fight between Coombs and Eron. Imagine
Eron tried to drown Coombs in the bathroom. Oh yeah and don't forget when Thomas pissed all over
Eron's bed and put shit in his football boots, Lol. Also never forget our water fights with block 10. The last
one while I was there resulted in Ravi receiving some cricket bats from Machel, very funny stuff.
Kevin: What about the Cell Block, any characters there altered your UWI experience, challenged you,
annoyed you? Does the Cell Block have a future without the Fuzz?
Fuzzy: Man the cell block has been through a lot. However, the inmates in first year were very like
brothers to me. Kayle Nurse taught me a lot. Man like Billy (Ali Hinds), Smoker (Shimon McIntosh),
Cameron, Oraine, Savi (David Constanza) were real good friends who looked out for me. Hey but I cannot
forget my father (not real father) Augustus Thomas. Then in Second year you had man like Jookie
(Bertram Anderson), Smiley (Andrew Morrisson), crazy ass Vaughan Henderson. Jerry will always be my
nigga and of course my second father figure Mr Mark Usher. Ah good brethren. But also my little brother
Kellon and not to forget one of my best friends for life another Belizean colleague who came to hall in my
final year is no other than the girls them sugar Mr Nigel Vasquez and also crazy ass Peter Ram
(Ramkisoon/ that is Allan Ali's brother). But hey the Cell block has been through some times, hopefully, it
will be ok this year and for generations to continue once the inmates stick to the traditions and once they
get creative then the blk will have vibes.
Kevin: So, what are you up to, post UWI? Where and what are you doing? Who or what are you doing it
with; and have they filed a restraining order against you?
Fuzzy: Well right now I am back in SVG (St. Vincent & the Grenadines for those who don't know). I am
looking for a job but that will not be a problem. Besides I am doing some spanish lessons at the
Venezuelan embassy. It makes sense especially since I want to do my Masters in Interantional Relations
and with the advent of CSME, FTAA and globalisation in general. About now I am single but not for long
and Loosh stay out of my business especially concerning who I am doing but hey no woman never did and
will never put a restraining order on me. Because once you go fuzz you never go back.
Kevin: What does the future hold for the Fuzzinator?
We will have to see what the future holds for the Fuzzinator. However, you will be hearing a lot about me
in the future. I can tell you all that and hey some of you will be seeing me more often.
Kevin: OK Muslim Fuzztoons, what other UWI stuff are you not telling me? Spill the beans you gerbil!
Fuzzy: What?! . . . Well one, Ravi and Andreas Coombs were the food thieves on hall. I can remember
when Tom (exchange student) made some marijuana brownies, Ravi and Akil freeked out when they ate
them. That shit was funny. Second the exchange students on the blk were not that vibesy and a bit
disrespectful during unity week except for Tom and Dave during my final year and I guessed that they
loved it so much why they stayed for the entire year. Shit they were my drinking buddies. Third Jookie
used to hog the phone but we were still cool. Fourth, in first yr Mohan Mandelbaum was the nastiest
exchange student I had ever met. Fifth, Security was a pain in the ass as usual. Also the Hall Council was
the worse ever in my final yr, grubbing and hall king and queen show were terrible, to make matters worse
they did not even have a Carnival band that year for campus carnival. Sixth, with all respect but facts are
facts and this is my opinion so who vex that is their business, with Wayne Stewart and Kenneth Bobb on
the block in my second year the Blk culture and hall life degenerated. But hey I will stop right there. But I
must say one more thing, Hall people, as a matter of fact all caribbean people they love to Maco, chat too
much or just damn nosey (always in people f***ing business).
Kevin: Tell me about the UWI Students Guild; and more about Hall Life? What and who will you miss?
Fuzzy: Yeah the Guild was disappointing always thiefing money and the way they handled the amenities
thing was terrible. Also the new Hall Administrator, damn, sometimes you wished you had Mrs Wilkinson
but over time I guess things will be better. I know for sure Harbour Lights, Club Xtreme, Boatyard, beer
limes, parties at the Vatican & Palace, ah done miss them already. Now that I have completed UWI I feel
like doing some more degrees there just for the fun of it. Hey my first summer school was the shit with me,
Loosh, Niyan Fraser, Corridon Hanna, Billy, Tre, Raymond, Big Shev, Maxim, Kenneth Bobb making
trouble and troubling them girls Cassie, Kenisha, Dwana Davis, Adriana, Chanda, Michelle and Amy. Plus
you had the Calis, Michigan posse, Colombians and those girls Eliztaicha and Madine who were there for
the gender & development course. Man I miss UWI. The last two summers were not that good especially
the last one because there weren't any exchange students.
Kevin: (Sneeze) My movies (bless me).
Fuzzy: Well yeah man your movies were the shit too. I have these movies confused now. But I
remembered one with Niyan Fraser as the evil guy with Shaina and Simone as his bodyguards. Also you
and your mission impossible thing with Lakeisha White (Mince). Dwana Davis doing some dance, I cannot
even remember but the grave yard scene was funny especially with Sheldon Codner. Cockspur getting
thrown over blk 3 and Dwana slapping Martin Brix. But hey that small part in one of your films when me
and Alan Ali were harassing Dominique Afoon you need to show that man. Put it on the website. Anyway
nice scene when you shot Oraine Nelson.

Kevin: The name 'Fuzzy', its Italian right? But you're not italian!
So who started it? Is it a family name?
Fuzzy: Loosh, the name Fuzzy is not italian. You look at too
many Italian mob movies. Anyway you very well know that the
name fuzzy came from both Shimon and Kayle at the blk 4 fete
in the guild we had in my first year. Shimon said I sound like
fuzzy bear in the muppets show. Then remember sometimes I
used to hardly shave so again all this hair on my face. Also
Cameron said my hairy face looked like a fuzzy pussy cat.
Furthermore, Vanessa, Safiya and Midge (all from blk 2) started
using the name and I guessed it spread from there like a forest
fire.
Kevin: Hurricane Fuzztrina, what would you say has been your
contribution to hall? Will it endure?
Fuzzy: Well I did contribute twice by being on the orientation
committee and helped the hall council with its constitution. Also
I was a motivator to some people. I am a man who tries to
cheer people up, give them advice when it is needed and to be
their when in bad times. For instance when my friend
Sharmaine Gillett (Blk 8) cousin died sometime before exams I
was there for her. Furthermore I still tried to make sure that Blk
4 had to stand out, especially with our traditions. Therefore, for
those persons who saw what I did and took my advice on
occassions they will be motivated and put there best foot
forward to do what is best for each other and for the Hall.
